A huge thank you from Angie
2010 has been a fantastic year for Physiofit. I would like to thank all our patients, consultants, doctors and friends for supporting us and allowing us to expand the team to incorporate fresh ideas and skills.
We said goodbye to Maggie Brown, who retired to spend more time with her grandchildren, and to Jilly Burrows who has gone to live in France and improve her skiing!
We celebrated Jean Thistleton being with Physiofit for 10 years and next year it will be the turn of Sandy Norgrove to mark the decade she has spent with us. I am blessed with loyal colleagues who have established superb reputations in the area for their professionalism.
We also celebrated in style the marriage of Sandy to Oliver, which was a beautiful day at Adlington Hall.
We have an ever increasing distance travelled by our patients to take advantage of our unique screening programme for sportsmen and women. This year has attracted clients from Shrewsbury, Lytham, Wales, Wirral, Chester and Stoke. We have seen professional sportsmen and women and stars of the future in as many as 15 different sports from sailing to break dancing and rhythmic gymnastics.
We have developed parent packs for families with sporty children, with details regarding growth spurts, posture, footwear and nutrition. These are available by email to anyone wishing to keep their child safe as they grow.
