Under the current government guidelines regarding patient care during coronavirus, all patients must have a remote assessment to determine the safest way to treat them. We have therefore removed the online booking option for now and ask that you call us or email us to book an assessment and treatment.
For NHS treatment, you can visit the NHS website and complete a self-referral form ensuring that you tick the box for Physiofit, and the referral is sent to us directly
Payment and Insurance
Physiofit are registered with most health insurance companies. We are able to bill some insurance companies directly and these rates may vary according to the contract we have with them. When making your appointment please inform us of your policy number and authorisation number.
Occasionally some insurers may struggle to find us on their list. We are registered with nearly all companies so please call us for our provider number.
Self-funding patients must pay after each appointment. We accept debit card and cash payments but are unable to accept credit cards. A receipt will be issued immediately after each session.
Physiofit has undergone a rigorous process to be selected as a “Qualified Provider” of physiotherapy for patients within the East Cheshire CCG. To receive treatment at Physiofit under the AQP scheme you must be registered at any ECCCG surgery and can either be referred by a doctor or self-refer via the triage system. Your first consultation usually lasts 30 minutes. Longer appointments can be pre-booked, however many insurance companies will not cover these.
We complete an in-depth assessment of your problem, enabling us to give you a clinical diagnosis and provide you with specific solutions to get you back doing what you enjoy. We will explain to you your treatment plan, give you the opportunity to ask any questions and we will estimate the number and frequency of appointments you require.
24 hours’ notice is required for cancellation of an appointment, or the full fee for a session will be charged.
